What they said about us.....
"The robust installations are a good advert. A no-nonsence approach."

"This is a company that has been built up on a solid reputation.
I am fortunate that I know Woking Aerials work, his reputation goes before him. Any person employing Woking Aerials is assured of a job well done.
Again being able to see work close up shows that Alan provides a service which is to be envied.
The system viewed by me was very impressive...."

"This assessment was carried out as an NVQ assessment session.
I observed Alan, visit a domestic property, qualify the customer, fault find/diagnose the reception issue, and install a complete new aerial system.
This was done to an exceedingly high standard."

What's in a Name?
Whose deceiving you?
I am highlighting this because not for the first time I have recently come across another elderly customer who had been mislead in the way a company presents itself over the internet by advertising the fact that they are 'local', when they are not.
In this case an elderly lady made payment for unnecessary work and was basically 'stiched-up'
I received a telephone call from this elderly lady on Goldsworth Park saying that she had reception issues and asked me to take a look, she also said that she had previously had another aerial person visit but she still had reception problems.
On arriving at her bungalow I could immediately see a few faults with the aerial installation without the need to look at the TV.
But having looked the the TV the majority of channels were missing.
From the ground I could see:
- The cap, designed to keep the connections dry, was missing off the aerial
- The aerial was way off direction for the transmitter
- The coaxial cable had become detached from the mast
- An 'internal' splitter had been installed 'outside' and taped up to try and keep it watertight (It's never going to work!)
- At some stage the mast had snapped and a piece of 22mm copper tube had been inserted to join the mast together.
So what did the previous aerial company do?
Well according to the lady, who I have no reason to disbelieve, he changed the fly lead between the wall outlet and the TV in the lounge, and fiddled about with the lead in the second room and retuned both TV's several times.
He was there for two hours (can't think what he was doing to while away the time) but did not go up on the roof to inspect the aerial.
For that he charged the lady £120.00
When the lady said, 'no way', he reduced the figure to £60 and left without giving her a receipt.
So, who was the aerial company?
Well because she has no receipt to aid 'proof' I cannot publish the company name, but I did ask her why she choose this particular company who she found on Google.
She said that because he advertised in his own name, she thought that he was a local small business and when questioning the person who did arrive, she was told that the company was based many miles away (over 200) from Woking and the man who turned up was just a sub-contractor.
And that is why I ask, 'What's in a Name, Whose deceiving you'?
So if you were to Google 'Aerial Repair in Woking' this person/company may pop up.
Now change the search from 'Woking' to 'Blackpool' and then change it again to 'Lowestoft' and you may find this person/company, who portrays to be' local', pops up again, same web page, just a different town name.
So this is the mistake this lady made, she thought that she was dealing with a 'local one man band' when in fact she was dealing with a national company.
So, my advice to you all is, if you are looking for a 'local' business, look on the Trading Standards 'Buy with Confidence' website first HERE
